Shipping policy

We currently ship within the US and to most countries world wide! Our warehouse is located in Westchester, NY, USA. All inventory is US based, so most orders are dispatched within 1-2 business days. We will make every effort to deliver your package as soon as possible. However, additional time may be required due to the peak selling season, invalid or incomplete addresses, customs clearance issues, force majeure, and public holidays. Please note that shipping carriers do not guarantee delivery times since Covid began. The shipping schedules below are estimated timing.

For international orders, keep in mind that delays can occur with packages being held in customs prior to delivery.   Because we do our best to ship out orders as quickly as possible, we are often unable to make changes to your order or cancel your order once it’s been placed.

We do not retroactively issue refund or credit for coupon codes or gift cards not applied at the time of checkout.

 

Please make sure the address you enter at checkout is correct. The customer will be responsible for re-delivery fees should the package be returned to us as undeliverable because of address mistakes.

Pre-order and custom order items take extra time for delivery and will be specified approximate dates  in product description. Cancellation of pre-orders may not always be possible and will be subject to 25% restocking fee. Please note, we do not guarantee delivery time of pre-orders. The timing listed under product description is an estimate!

Petite Maison Kids is not responsible for loss or damage of item(s) during the shipping process if you choose to remove Navidium Shipping Protection. We advice choosing priority shipping option and Navidium Protection upon checkout to include insurance coverage in case of theft, loss, or damage during transit. 
Once items in an order have been scanned and delivered by the courier or mail carrier, Petite Maison Kids will cease to have any liability pertaining to the order delivery; all items at that juncture will be considered the sole responsibility and property of the customer. Petite Maison Kids does not hold or accept responsibility for packages that have been reported as delivered by the carrier. We do not issue refunds or credits for packages that the carrier confirms as being delivered. Please note that we are not responsible for the delivery of International economy packages. Standard international package delivery takes up to 31 business days. Due to Covid19, we have been advised that delays can be up to 3 months. Please consider choosing our express delivery services should you need a package sooner. Express shipping delivery timeframe is up to 14 business days. All applicable duties, tariffs, and customs fees are the responsibility of the customer. For international packages, if pre-order items are purchased together with stock items, they will be shipped separately and extra shipping fee will be charged. 

Please inspect items upon receiving them, If you do not notify us of any issue within 7 days of delivery, we cannot help you. The date of Package delivery is day 1 of the 7 calendar days allowed for returns. 

Covid19 Policy update:
Please note, due to the global pandemic, shipping companies are experiencing delays and do not guarantee delivery times. Please allow up to extra 14 business days for delivery within US and up to extra 30-60 days for delivery outside of US for standard shipping. For priority and express shipping please allow up to extra 7 business days within US and up to extra 14 business days International. We do not refund shipping costs for delayed packages. Please contact shipping carrier if your package is delayed in transit.

RETURNS
Returns may be requested within 14 calendar days from delivery of parcel (minus cost of shipping). Once authorized, the parcel has to be returned to our warehouse within 14 calendar days (30 days for international returns). There is no refund for shipping fees. All sale items are final sale, however some sale items can be returned for store credit within 7 days of order Delivery Date. The customer will be responsible for return shipping fees. Final clearance sale items are not returnable and will be listed as such under product description.  All products not Petite Maison Kids brand are final sale. Health and personal care items, toys, gift cards, and accessories are all final sale. All hair accessories, jewelry, and socks are final sale, but may be returned for store credit. Hats may be returned if in original condition with tags attached. Bathing suits may be returned, but need to have hygienic strip still attached and all original tags, packaging in place. If your return arrives to us over 14 days after return authorization date (30 if international) , the return will not be accepted. At that point we will offer you an option of shipping the item back. Return shipping fees will apply. If an item is received damaged, you must contact us within 7 days of delivery of the item. For damaged items, you will be provided an exchange for a new same item, where possible. 
We cannot retroactively refund or apply coupon codes to past purchases if code is not entered at checkout by the customer

Please note that custom orders cannot be returned. Some pre-orders can be returned if authorized, however a 25% re-stocking fee will apply and the rest of the return will be in store credit.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in original packaging with tags attached if applicable. To complete your return, we  require a receipt or proof of purchase. Please note that once your return is approved you must return the item to us within 14 calendar days. If more than 14 days go by, your return will be void and the item(s) will be sent back to you.   

Gift items can be returned for store credit within 7 days after delivery date.

Petite Maison Kids is not responsible for damage or loss of item(s) during the returning process. We advice choosing priority shipping and Route Protection to include insurance coverage for your orders. Petite Maison Kids is not responsible for lost or stolen packages. We reserve the right to reject any exchange request that does not fulfil our Return & Exchange Policy.
